Man, this vacation was soooo necessary. I feel younger and I think I even look younger than before we left.

I am tired of this world, the one that revolves around what you have, who you know, and worse, who you can harm, who you can diminish, who you can quiet..perhaps forever, in order to be seen or heard. We are a pitiful, sick species. I'm not certain where I heard this (para)phrase, but It goes....isn't it sad that we, as the only species with the potential to directly affect their evolution would almost universally direct it toward our total destruction.

More positive thoughts to come...I promise.

What really matters

When was the last time you truly contemplated something existential? What am I? Why am I here? What is this world, really? What ultimate purpose do I serve? Can you imagine what it is like to think about these things and more all the time, every day of your life? It isn't easy, but I have to. I suspect there are several people I know who understand.
